Alex Savatti
Before any and all, Alex Savatti is a storyteller. A crossbreed of a life spent loving people and the outdoors, Alex comes to us from Guelph, Ontario, where his time balances between building his business, Tripshed, building canoes, and building community. He comes to us with a wealth of experience in creating transformative, impactful moments for folks in the backcountry, alongside a deep love for capturing those moments in memorable tales.
As our Engagement Coordinator, Alex puts his storytelling skills to use across our social media channels, e-newsletters, blogs, and more to help connect the Edge with current and future visitors. He’s also engaged in program development and retreat facilitation at the Edge.
Having spent much of his career curating, facilitating and capturing transformative experiences in Ontario’s wilderness, Alex brings a diverse skill set in facilitation. From guiding wilderness tours to several years designing and leading programs at the Guelph Outdoor School, he’s no stranger to the capacity of intention and nature to create moments that leave people changed. When he’s not guiding wilderness trips, he has feet in other areas of development, from working in men’s groups to serving as a coach in transformative workshops.
